Keloid Removal
A keloid scar is a thick, raised scar. This can occur anywhere you have broken skin, but it most commonly occurs on the earlobes, shoulders, cheeks, or chest. If you are prone to developing keloids, they can appear in several places. A keloid scar does not harm physical health, but it can cause emotional distress. Prevention or early treatment is essential. Treatment of keloid scars is possible. If you don't like the look or feel of a keloid, talk to a doctor about how to straighten or remove it. Even with treatment, a keloid may persist for years or return.
